The FA wants children in South Manchester to be able to play football, learn new skills and have fun in a calm, safe environment.
This new League and its mini-soccer centres are backed by The FA as a model of best practice for children's football.
We follow The FA's guidelines for children's football. The focus is on player development rather than winning. The format is 5v5 for U7s and 6v6 for U8s so that children get more touches of the ball.
The FA asks parents to take a back seat and not to shout out instructions while the children are learning. The loudest sound should be the children shouting to each other.
