NEW U9s DEVELOPMENT CENTRE ANNOUNCED
Our League is growing so quickly that we are opening a new Development Centre every season to cope with the number of teams wanting to join.
Just two years ago, we started with only 12 teams. This new Development Centre will allow us to cater for over 100 teams!
The new Centre is at Newall Green High School, only a stones throw from our St Paul's Centre. It has a state-of-the-art, brand new 3G astroturf pitch and offers ample parking, toilets and onsite catering.
From September, it will host next season's U9s (who currently play at our Cedar Mount Centre).
So, we'll have four dedicated Mini-Soccer Development Centres:
U7s will play at our Burnage Centre
U8s will play at our Cedar Mount Centre
U9s will play at our Newall Green Centre
U10s will play at our St Paul's Centre
Each Centre is run by a Centre Director who organises the fixtures, mentors the referees and encourages Respect.
The Centre Director for the new Newall Green facility will be Sally Thompson who is currently Assistant Centre Director at our St Paul's Centre.
